Yoon withdrew his plans for martial law after the main trade union confederation began an "indefinite strike". Yoon is notoriously anti-union and has tried to impose a more authoritarian regime since he came to power in 2022 (with a 0.8% margin by the way). Lesson to learn: #UnionPower

Unions are briefly touched upon in the curriculum. However, I doubt the powers at be would want us to learn the lessons of the oast struggles and apply them today. It's like saying, "Know about Martin Luther King, but don't behave like him." #hegemony

There has been a 'dealignment' of the working class due to the neoliberalism of the Democrats and the populism of the Republicans. Hopefully organised Labor builds working class independence. Unions have done it before and they can do it again.
