We had a blast at Ugnay: Philippine Media and Information Literacy Summit 2025 last weekend at University of the Philippines Diliman! Huge thanks to Out of the Box Media Literacy Initiative for having us, and congratulations on a successful event.

Grateful that I'm safe from the typhoon and my apartment is ok after strong winds and rains. But just a reminder that this intensified typhoons and floodings are not just because of our corrupt government, but also due to climate change and historical emissions mostly caused by the first world.

The summit yesterday was pretty succesful! So grateful for Out of the Box Media Literacy Initiative for getting me as their supplier for the event. It was so heartwarming seeing the joy in the participants as they use my hand-carved stamps and customize their own advocacy stickers.

Zine Making × Indigenous language and #culture with Tagbanua and Batak youth of Cabayugan and Tagabinet, Puerto Princesa, Palawan To make #Indigenous Knowledge Systems and Practices documentation more engaging, I introduced #zine making as part of our research and documentation training program.

I've been really exhausted (physically and mentally) these past few weeks with all my printmaking work + econ work. Like literally my whole body is aching with days of printing but still prepping to hike for fieldwork. But someone just followed me and messaged me that they are inspired by my work. 😭

My project before fieldwork: katmon bag and stickers! 🟢💮 You can use hand-carved rubber stamps on both cloth and paper, just choose the right ink. For brighter colors, I like using oil-based ink. #Printmaking #PrintmakingPhilippines #Katmon #Stamps #PhilippineFruit

Modesty is a concept rooted in patriarchy, misogyny and purity culture. Every time the topic arises the burden always falls on women which is very telling. A woman will be blamed for causing a man to lust but a man won't be blamed for his actions or for being in that environment.
