The last day of the heatwave, tomorrow we'll finally get cooler temperatures and hopefully lots of rain 😁

The sun is setting and the Kankakee mallows have started to flower 😁

It will be slightly warmer today they say but turn towards cooler weather some time late tomorrow/early saturday.

Everything is turning yellow now, even the lilacs look sad and it has to be very dry for them to do that. They say we'll get up to 30mm of rain this weekend so I'll water all over the garden so that the rain sink down into the ground insted of just run down to the road and continue out to the bog.

It's going to be hot today so lots of people will visit the pools. The splash/paddling pool is bult so it's rather shallow on one side and just shallow on the other. It's too shallow on the rather shallow side for the robotar to work properly, so every morning I take off my socks and shows, pull up

There's a microscopic chanse we might get some rain today. It will be slightly cooler and it will be cloudy they say. Warmer now in the morning though.

The rain we had was too little and no rain in sight, so I took a photo of the flowerbed before it'll dry up.

Thick clouds makes it darker than it should be but when it does white flowers shines in the garden.

I woke up 40 minuter before the alarm would start, too much tea in the evening 😄 no use in going to bed again and I feel less tired than I have been in a long time 😁

I was planning on writing a blog today but had to call the police because of someone trying to scam me out of a lot of money. Well everything went well and both my bank and police are informed. I'll tell You more about it when I finally get the time to write my blog. It wasn't especially dramatic

I park beside this Korean mountain magnolia every time i go to my work coach. Seedpods are growing nicely and I might have to go there when they are ripe to collect some of them 😁 It grows on county property and it's most likely forbidden to collect the seeds but anyway 😄😄😄

Sun's up and so are we. Almost chilly outside and I really like it.

Last look around the garden before going to bed. An hour left until the sun sets but several until it gets dark. Summer in the nordic countries gives us the light we don't get in winter.

The rain has been falling on and off all day and I hope we'll get more. This I think, is a north American wild rose. It tends to grow so big that it collapses under its own weight.

Did You know that a Dogrose can become really big? Thr rose flowers You can see way up in the crab apple tree is over almost as high up as the roof of my cottage, 4-5 meters (much the same in yards) up.

I managed to stay in bed one hour longer today before the dogs demanded for us to go outside 😄 The weather sites say it'll be less hot today, 27C ( 80,6F), a rather big change from what they said yesterday 😁 still hot for us Scandinavians. Rain and thunder as well in the earlier parts of the day 😁

I really really hope the Litchie tomato, Solanum sisymbriifolium, tastes very good because the entire plant is covered with those sharp, thin and long thorns. It will not be fun picking the berries 😄

Some would say my broccoli failed this summer since it has started to flower but the entire plant is edible so can one say it has failed? I've put it all in a pot with salt water and I'll parboil it, then let the water drip off before I put it all in the freezer.

I managed, by accident I'll add, to move my eyelid at 3:25 am so the dogs decided that it was time to go outside. So this is the morning sky at 3:29 am here in my village 😄

This rose really likes the heat. It's actually a terrible weed because it spreds like crazy if I don't pull up the suckers everyvday. Nice looking weed though 😄
