Was feeling exhausted all of last week so added color to an old digital sketch instead of what I originally planned on drawing.

I was planning on drawing something else and then I saw this drawing trend going around and decided to join in. I don't usually draw fanart so this is a nice break from the usual to draw #Frieren. I have attempted angles like this in the past and try to avoid it but can't improve if you quit, right?

Decided to challenge myself to draw an expression that I usually don't. The pose is also slightly different than usual. Then I decided to do lineless just cause. Ashton was the lucky OC chosen for this exercise which is very needed as her previous drawings are not my favorites.

Here's a drawing of my current dnd character, Tempest. The party is attending a party and the DM had us roll to see how sick our characters' outfits will be. I rolled real bad which the DM mercifully flavored where Tempest had a good fit but she threw her varsity jacket on top of it lol.

Back to posting art I did last awhile ago. In the last two weeks of October I had time gotten back to my regularly scheduled program of OCs in Halloween costumes! For Halloween Crystal and Mason decided to switch places with Crystal dressing as a vampire and Mason dressing as a siren.

Time for the final set in the series! Here is Calamity aka Peyton. As I was drawing this, I realizes I've never done a full bodied drawing of Peyton before but I made it work. It was fun figuring out a pose for her.

I ended up breaking my usual October tradition to continue this series with Sophia aka The Green Thumb. The beloved hero and former best friend of Leila. She's always been a bit self-absorbed. She misses fighting crime with Leila but she downplays her impact in the Incident.

Finally posting my backlog of art, starting with the mini series of drawings of civilian vs alter egos. I began with my favorite villainess OC, Leila aka the Black Butterfly. I wanted to overlay the two versions and have breaks to reveal the other below.

#artvsartist2025 It's that time of year again to post art vs artist. I feel like this year, I really went through the motions just to have something to post every week. Majority of what I drew this year were redraws and while I enjoy revisiting old art, that's not all I want to draw.

Did some doodling this week and updated Maura and Khiara's designs a bit. I may continue to update Khiara's design a bit further. I have changed this girl's hair several times but I like how I updated her hair to have some similarities to her sister's. #ocs

It's been minute since I drew my OC Alisa. I was debating what to draw and really wanted to draw one of my OCs so I went through a file I have dedicated to them and finished an old sketch. The og sketch was made before I updated Alisa's design so it was nice adapting it. #ocart

I decided to look into an older sketchbook to do another redraw and really expanded on it. I need to share the original sketch later. I think this is a sketchbook I had back in high school. It was also a great opportunity to play around with color which I haven't let myself do in a minute.

Completely forgot to schedule this post so it's a little later than usual! Another sketch redraw, where Fidele and Heather are gushing about how much they love their partners while Naomi and Vance just look at them blankly.

Finally had the chance to draw something new! This is a redraw of an old sketch of my OCs Rena and Luca. Luca got really excited and Rena is not a touchy feely friend.

Started playing a new #dnd campaign last week so it's time to share my new character! Meet Tempest Stormclaw, a bronze dragonborn paladin with a fatal flaw of just really wanting to help folks. She has some intense scarring and people feel the presence of death if they hang out with her too long.

I'm always avoiding drawing my OCs in profile so this was a way to push myself. Can't improve if you don't practice, right? Heather's enjoying a rainy day. I actually drew this a month ago and delayed posting because of mermay. I almost forgot I never posted this. #oc #ocart

I drew this awhile ago as one of those drawing trends to make a demon or angel OC based. I don't even know how to find the audio because I barely remember it. I ended up not sharing it for some reason and now he finally gets to see the light of day. Not sure if I'll add him to the official line up.

I was looking at an old lineart drawing of an OC where I used a color from the character as the background color and wanted to try it again. Ember was a nice character for this little exercise.

A few weeks ago, I participated in a western dnd oneshot so I wanted to show off my character! It's one of my dragon loving OCs, Grace. For the oneshot she is an aarakocra beast master ranger. Her design is based on a Costa's Hummingbird. Not pictured is her primal beast of the land Bruno.

Ngl my month is pretty busy so it's going to be a lot of quick drawings from here on out. I found another old sketch that I decided to give color. This is from the villain story I've drawn characters from in the past. Calamity finds herself alone after a battle ends differently than planned.

Two weeks ago I was chatting with a friend and had the urge to use a gif of Mothman but in the style of the Elmo fire gif. At that moment, there was not one readily available so I decided to make one myself! It's the preferred size for a discord emoji. I may make some more in the future for funsies.

I told myself I want to try to animate at least once a month and then planned nothing lol. So another quick animation this month, this time with my OC Kane. I will say, by the end of 2025 I better have a better understand of TVPaint than I do now because currently not a fan of the gif exports.

This illustration is based off of the narrow escape that ended July's dnd session. Our party's realm hopper got damaged in battle and we found ourselves in an unknown world and meeting Legion, who wished the destruction of everything. This incident caused a few existential crises/breakdowns.

I felt randomly compelled to draw the protagonist of the dream idea I've mentioned a few times (I've mentioned it on my other social media platforms before). It's been awhile since I drew any art related to it. This was also practice coloring with a limited palette.

Another old sketch redraw, one of these days I'll take pictures of the original sketches to add to the posts. This is based on an old story idea I had in hs that I've drawn a few times. The story was about an elf princess that was kidnapped and returns to her kingdom but she now has a demon within.

So guess who'd a published artist (again)! My job has an annual art journal they do to show off folks' artistic abilities. I submitted to the latest issue last spring and not only was my piece accepted but it's the cover of the issue! So I wanted to share a gif of the process of creating the piece.

I last minute decided that I want to try and do a new animation each month this year. Since I didn't give myself much time to plan properly, I opted for a simple gif of my OC Senon waving. I need to refamiliarize myself with TVPaint cause I was struggling with the brushes.

When I was looking through files to rebuild my website, I found an old styleframe for my Mother Nature project from college. I think about redoing the short a lot but for now I thought it would be fun to recreate the styleframe.

I was working on my website and pulling files and I realized I never shared some of the preproduction art from my senior film Gotcha! 6 1/2 years after finishing the film, this art still has a special place in my heart. I also love that incorporated some of my OCs in as bg characters.

Finally changing my portfolio website like I should've like 2 years ago but now I don't know what to go to. I guess squarespace??? If anyone has a good wix alternative please let me know cause I'm winging it.

Earlier this month, I participated in one shot for my friend's birthday. I wised up when creating my character and utilized one of my many existing OCs. Zariya is usually a human aerial dancer in a traveling circus but for this, she was an air genasi who became a monk.

I wanted to do a cute drawing for Christmas with my OCs so here's a little double date with Kane & Batya and Jaime & LJ. Kane and LJ are roommates so it's not uncommon for the couples to hang out together. Why I doubled down on Jaime wearing green in front of the tree is beyond me but I committed.

Very glad I saw someone post an #ArtvsArtist post because I didn't draw like I planned to this week. I had some nice drawings this year but I want to aim for more full illustrations (and hopefully some animations) next year. Also I included a sneak peek of a drawing I haven't posted yet this year.
