🌟As a member of the Access to Justice Fellows Program, a collaboration of the Lawyers Clearinghouse and the Massachusetts Access to Justice Commission, Lisel will manage a program that offers pro bono representation for clients with medical disabilities at their naturalization interviews.

Earlier this week, 19 volunteers from Goodwin joined us in our office to help 27 immigrants take the next step toward U.S. citizenship! Clients ranged from ages 18–85, came from 13 countries (including Thailand, Belize & Pakistan), and 85% qualified for a fee waiver.

We closed out July with an inspiring citizenship workshop at Thomas Crane Library in Quincy, in partnership with Quincy Asian Resources and the amazing library staff. Thank you to everyone who made this day possible!💙

Happy 4th of July from Project Citizenship! This country was built by immigrants and immigrants continue to build our communities every day. Today, we also celebrate the hard work and determination of those on the path to citizenship. Our office will be closed today in observance of the holiday.

Last week, we partnered with Morrison Foerster to help 36 immigrants take the next step toward U.S. citizenship. 🌍 Clients came from 17 countries + 20 communities in New England 💸 64% qualified for a fee waiver 🙏 Thank you, MoFo, for standing with our clients!

We recently wrapped up a pro bono project with CCT Boston, whose expert team analyzed our service model to identify how we can serve more clients, more efficiently. 🔍We’re grateful for their strategic insights and look forward to putting them into action!

🏛️With support from Cambridge CIRC, Mayor Denise Simmons & Sanofi, Cambridge Citizenship Day was a success! 🌍45 immigrants from 21 countries—each on their path to U.S. citizenship. ⁠ 🌟 96% of participants qualified for a fee waiver, reminding us that cost should never be a barrier to citizenship.
