Today in TB & fashion history collide I got to see the gown Elenora di Toledo (wife of Cosimo de Medici) was buried in after her death from consumption in 1562. Her gown had to be overlapped to account for her shrunken frame. It was amazing to see this 16th century survivor! #fashionhistory #histmed

As prepared as I can be, but as a person who grew up in Louisiana, I am dreading a storm that’s bringing over an inch of ice coupled with gusty winds & temperatures dropping to 9 F (-12C). We are likely to have widespread power outages & no heat! Hope everyone in the path of this storm stays safe.

I have already done too much adulting today & it’s only 9am! Solidarity if you are on the struggle bus!
