I always thought I was being very big brained as a small child by sitting as close as I possibly could to any screen I was watching. I’d boast: “Why do people need big screens? just sit closer! duh!” …Then my once-perfect eyesight suffered immensely and to this day my visual acuity suffers. >_>

My lovely elderly neighbors took me on a tour of their home a few weeks ago & I spotted this old PC sitting in an unfinished room. I told them in very broken italian that I specialize in fixing these and it’s a big hobby of mine. Today they gave me it! My first retro PC acquisition in Europe! :D

The most fun thing about moving to europe has been re-learning cars. In america I could identify basically any car ever offered by just looking at its taillights 100 meters away at night. Now every time i go for a drive i say “What is that!” at least 5 times

SCART cables have arrived for my NTSC consoles, but they only seem to work on the orange secondary inputs on the back of this thing.. picture looks suspiciously composite, when i try the primary input the entire screen turns red. Is PAL required for RGB goodness…?
