I know there is still a long way to go in the season, but I can’t help but feel that Fulham missed an opportunity this year. Too many draws and poor results against teams below us in the table. On a positive note, we’ve shown that we can beat those above us on any given day.

Lost in the euphoria of today’s win, let’s spare a thought for poor Bobby Reid. A good servant to Fulham, now rooted to the bench for a relegation struggler.

Today was all about the result - and thankfully it went our way. With Berge back, let’s hope this gives FFC the kick start we need.

Match day - Fulham go again. Let’s hope there’s a reaction after the disappointment at West Ham. Hopefully Berge plays a part today. Another struggling side to break down. Fingers crossed that Marco can right the ship!

Will be interesting to see how strong a side WHU line up against Villa tonight, with an eye toward our match on Tuesday night.

My main takeaway from yesterday’s match is that Fulham did what it was supposed to against a lower division side. Hopefully it builds some confidence and makes us more ruthless against opponents below us in the table. A poor performance/result would have been disastrous.

Lost in the noise of yesterday’s match was another assured appearance by Josh King. In a small sample size, he was very composed and did not look out of place during a crucial part of the match. I hope he receives more chances in upcoming matches.

A word re: Antonee Robinson. He has played the last two matches v Saka and Salah, and managed to shut both down. He has performed at an extremely high level all season. He never stops running, his defending is crucial whilst he also creates opportunities in attack. Player of the season so far?
