I've been wanting to write a conversion of mana to a post apocalypse setting and so far my scratches point towards the elements system is going to be functionally similar but kinda weird. But the crafting system will probably work better for the conversion than the regular game.

A new version just released! mostly rules clarifications, but also a new packet of materials that may be coming in future updates (after refining them). balance changes and additional sections to help the storyteller.

What about having a packet of playtest material come with the book? This book is a living document so the playtest material could easily just be in there and adjusted to balance later. But would it be better to have a separate playtest material file?

There are four attack stats for the creatures, but only one or two are ever relevant, never three or four. So should I just exclude the other ones from the stat block?

Artists feel pressured to make new art too quickly at the moment. Normalise artists fucking disappearing for months. Just walk off into the woods for a year and come back with a single sketch. Itβs good for you

There's no part of game development I dislike, except for numbers. making sure everything is mathematically solid is important and I treat it as such, but it is such a pain to keep myself focused on the numbers...

orcish script. I made this for the game I'm writing but I think I'll scrap it because I don't want to write a script for each of the seven peoples... the script can be used in phonetic spelling to write out words in the common tongue, a couple characters had to be added to the script to allow this.
