The closing of studios, ramping up for a project then laying off at the end also makes a very fragmented knowledge pool. No time to learn and grow, no time to teach nurture. only survive till the next gig. The people who know and been around may not come back. Wonder why performance is crap?

What will It take to improve UE5 game performance? Time. But this time not given to all dev studios from the people who write their checks/fund the project. Getting your hands on an already created engine still requires R&D specific to your games needs.
