I think this is how I feel about the touhou soundtracks now.

Just something to compare it to; people do have different traits all the time and we don't think about them in terms of queerness. Like eye colors, which people recognize are different, but don't put into a hierarchy. We do this about a lot of things, but we don't do this with everything.

Personally I prefer the term queer over LGBTQ+. Not just because the latter is unwieldy, but also because I think queer carries more history. It's similar to how liberaly will say "differently abled" or some shit to not look down on disabled people when in reality they are denying their oppression.

I find it as cringe as everyone else how companies will call their employees "family" because they're trying to evoke some kind of positive connotation that implies solidarity, but when you think about it, it's not inaccurate considering families will disown you for being autistic and/or queer.
