Rural should NEVER mean second-rate. I'm backing my colleague Ben Maguire's Bill that aims to improve access to healthcare in rural Britain. Here in North Norfolk, that means fighting for an Urgent Treatment Centre at Cromer Hospital. Less driving ✔️ Less waiting ✔️ Better care, closer to home ❤️

People told me: "Nothing will change." Turns out that's not true. Together we've secured £83 million to tackle sewage pollution along North Norfolk's coastline. There's still more to do but, two years in, that's one hell of a start! This is what progress looks like. #TwoYearsInJustWarmingUp

Every school I visit in North Norfolk tells the same story: doing more with less. Now they're being asked to fund a teachers' pay rise from already stretched budgets. It doesn't add up. I've co-signed a letter, with @libdems.org.uk colleagues, demanding proper funding for our schools.
