With a Members' queue with perhaps 200 or more people in it on Friday afternoon we had to give up on the idea of visiting the #MarieAntoinetteStyle exhibition at the V&A on Friday afternoon and had a mooch around the #Theatre & #Performance Galleries instead 🎭 💃 🩰

I did indeed grow up in the 80s & enjoyed this trip down memory lane at #NorthHertfordshireMuseum #Hitchin yesterday. My ra-ra skirt, jelly shoes, leg warmers & dodgy perm are long gone but great fun to see it all again. May it all stay forever in a museum 🤣 #itwasacceptableinthe80s #igrewupinthe80s

Sunday afternoon at the ballet...Saw #RoyalBallet in #Giselle at the #RoyalOperaHouse a couple of weeks ago but always lovely to see a performance again up close in the cinema and with a different cast 🩰🩰

Went to #ScottishBallet #MaryQueenOfScots @sadlerswells.bsky.social last night. Partner said this is the best piece of dance he's ever seen with me, probably because it's a subject he's interested in & it was also a very dramatic, modern piece with a fabulous new score & some stunning choreography.

The absolutely brilliant #BalletDeLorraine @southbankcentre.bsky.social last night. Perhaps someone might like to send #TimothéeChalamet a ticket because if he could see this performance and see the huge audience I think he might just realise people do still care very much about #ballet 🙄

Dance Day Part 2...To the Lilian Baylis Studio and my first time watching a performance by #CompanyOfElders, @sadlerswells.bsky.social resident performance group for non-professional dancers aged 60 and over. Hugely enjoyable and uplifting 👏 💃🕺

Saturday was a double dance day. First up a solo date to see the #RoyalBallet in #LaFillemalgardée at #RoyalBalletAndOpera. The Royal Ballet hasn't performed this ballet for 10 years but it's perfect to bring it back now....Silly, funny, light-hearted escapism, just what we need right now 🩰

Thanks to #LondonBalletCircle I joined a tour of the new #SadlersWellsEast theatre #Eastbank last week including backstage areas, dressing rooms, dance studios, costume repair & maintenance area and balconies and roof gardens which have stunning views over #QueenElizabethOlympicPark Thank you!
