Wondering why we need a nuclear power station near Bridgend? We don't - Wales is already producing more than enough energy for all of us The American investors plan to sell the electricity directly to these proposed AI data centres - because that's where the money is

The point for Wales here is that such an accident (were it Traws, Wylfa, Llynfi Valley etc) would *completely* destroy our land, people, and exonomy. For all the limitations of renewables, there is a reason we don’t talk about Photovoltaic Fallout or Tidal Lagoon contamination.
