I've discovered that AI makes an incredible creative collaborator - but there's a crucial line I NEVER cross with it. Here's how I strategically use AI in my PKM system (and where I absolutely avoid it) to help me be more creative. 🧵👇

Email is simply a list of other people trying to tell you what you should be paying attention to. Don't let others dictate your priorities. If you want more time to do your real work, close your email app.

AI is great, but NOT at everything. I use AI to explore and develop ideas (I love using VoicePal for this), but NEVER let AI make connections in your Obsidian vault. Those intentional connections are where the real idea magic happens! Bottom line: the sensemaking process can't be outsourced.

It's tempting to imitate the pattern of people you admire and look up to. But each of them had to find their own way. Don't get stuck trying to make their plan work for you. We all need to follow our own path.
