I really have never liked the #oxalis Regnellii - #luckyshamrock. I've never gotten mine to look like the massive beauties I've seen. So, when I divided mine, I took several tubers & put them in the garden. So far, they seem very happy.

Not a #houseplant, but I love this outdoor #plant. It's called Lunaria annua (honesty plant). The name "honesty" comes from how its seed pods look. They're flat, oval, round, translucent silverish discs you can see through. It's also called a "moonwort" because the pods shimmer silver in moonlight.

Interesting side note: I left this girl on the back porch over night, while treating it for #spidermites, and apparently it's a tasty treat for our pesky squirrels. They knocked it over and ate almost all the leaves and stems 🤪😐😡. Here's all that I could salvage. Hope it #propagates okay. #succulent

I hate #mosspoles BUT the work. AND to work, they need to be kept moist. For me, especially on BIG #plants, that means hoses & MESSES. All my past attempts to water the pole from the top have failed but here's my latest DIY try. A tin can, an oversized hole, and a bit of sponge pushed into the hole.

When #propagating #houseplants I went from #waterrooting right to the soil but the roots always struggled. So I started using #perlite B4 going to soil. It helped but roots didn’t really thrive. Now I use #sphagnummoss instead of perlite & the tender roots harden, grow, & do better once in the soil.
