By the wat, i'm doing #inktober this year... but without ink! I'm a duct tape artist, so that's what i'm going to use to do portraits of muy family and friends: duct tape on 240gr A4. I hope you like It!

This is one of my favorite illustrations in the series. I love how with so little you can show so much.

I just saw the term 'creativity privilege' (from an AI lover, who else) and man, we're fully submerged in the era of intellectual dishonesty huh. Just, no empathy whatsoever, no thinking twice, full blown stupidity. Words don't have meanings anymore either. I'm so tired.

My Red&Black illustrations allowed me to play a little with textures and the use of that "Sin City style" light.

limits increase creativity

this is part of a series I did back in 2020 (looks like a life ago!), like inktober but in december and using just red and black. My main goal: don't show the human body, just it's absence

i think its easy to fall into the trap of making drawing speed a goal when we watch expert artists nyoom away on the canvas. but it doesn't seem to work when we try to mimic them because even if we can copy an expert's process, we're still missing an expert's understanding

And, as I said, I'm a bit eclectic...that means my interests vary A LOT. For example, I also do exhibitions and my artworks are portraits made with duct tape. That's it, duct tape. In that case it is white adhesive tape on a 100x80 cm wood.

As an illustrator, I do some #fanart too, but i try to keep it in the "design-zone". Also, i use gold leaf too on some of my prints (in that case, i did Scarlet Witch from #Marvel with red gold leaf)

But, well, people remember me for my "Bible, according to what a guy passing by said". Not biblic at all. 100% phytonesque. Yeah, a bit eclectic artist
