Hmm, I wonder what this is referring to... (Great on you for getting some work done! I was able to get my initial sketches of both of my tropes done this morning).

Namely, doing a con table would be a long-term goal. I don't have the ability to juggle a third income stream. I already have two jobs. I have a Masters Degree now, but my ideal field falls more into the leisure side of things, and isn't as stable in tough global economies like this one.

Sometimes I think about saving up money to get a table at a convention and selling some of my work. However, I feel like a lot of my art really just appeals to a niche fandom audience and wouldn't print well due to my heavy use of darker color. I suppose it can remain a goal until the future.

While losing my mind working on my Masters' dissertation, I randomly stumbled on John M Roberts's SPQR mystery series in the local library. Several books in, I learned that the author passed away, leaving the last book unfinished. Its selfish, but it made me sad it'll never be completed. #reading

Nördlingen sword ; a Bronze Age weapon, found in Germany in exceptional condition. This is quite rare, considering that bronze objects from that period are often found damaged and in pieces, if they haven't already been melted down to create other objects. This sword dates from around -1400 BC !
