It means when there is an opportunity to speak up on a newsworthy event, like a scandal or crime, then it’s an intuitive call to action. Exploit and take command of the narrative.

LEADERSHIP & STRATEGY TO FIGHT: To be a leader in the Democratic Party, one has to meet five basic requirements: 1. Be first 2. Be fearless 3. Be passionate 4. Be authentic 5. Be fighting This is what *any* effective strategy requires, in and out of elections.

LEADERSHIP & STRATEGY TO FIGHT: There’s a crucial lesson for Democrats. Always place blame where it’s warranted. Even 2024’s biggest issue—inflation—was not just about cost of living. It was about the *unfairness* of the economy; a brooding sense that corrupt entities were cheating on consumers.

LEADERSHIP & STRATEGY TO FIGHT: When voters are deeply frustrated and distrustful of government, institutions, and both political parties, then it’s easy for Trump to exploit that. He just has to lie constantly and direct public anger toward his enemies. It’s absurd on every level. But it works.

LEADERSHIP & STRATEGY TO FIGHT: Trump/GOP are the masters of blaming the culprit, real or manufactured, on every issue they come across. Housing costs? It’s the illegal immigrants. Shutdown? It’s the Democrats. Epstein scandal? It’s still the Democrats’ dirty play, and everyone else involved.

LEADERSHIP & STRATEGY TO FIGHT: Every story needs a villain. Every political narrative needs a culprit. Without identifying and fighting that culprit, villain, mob boss, etc…then most people will lose focus and attention. They will get less angry on the real issue. They may tune out altogether.

LEADERSHIP & STRATEGY TO FIGHT: There can be many different contexts for affordability, and many different solutions to it. But the premise should be that ordinary people are struggling to pay rent, buy groceries, afford childcare, etc…*because* the rich and powerful are rigging the system.

LEADERSHIP & STRATEGY TO FIGHT: “Affordability” means cost of living. It resonates with many voters, of course. It makes sense during a tough economy (and massive inequality) that leaves too many people behind. It addresses the needs of working-class people. It’s a good strategy/issue to run on.

PURGE THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY: ***Primary all of the moderate/centrist Democrats who are not fighting with everything they got.*** They are the real internal enemies of the party. The traitors to democracy and rule of law. The obstacles to real change and progress. Purge all of them.

PURGE THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY: Taken altogether, a new kind of Democratic Party will consist of those who have the fighting spirit. Those who strongly, unequivocally oppose fascism and totalitarianism in all forms. Those who have a strong moral compass and a deeper sense of what drives *politics*.

PURGE THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY: As for leftists, progressives, and socialists... They can be uncompromising in their principles and vision. They take on the "establishment," the "capitalist system," the "neoliberal status quo," etc...such ambition and rhetoric often translate into a fighting posture.

PURGE THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY: *Liberals*....are somewhat different. They have the earnestness and intrepidity to fight for what's right. They believe in democracy and rule of law, though it's often conflated with "big tent" politics. Some liberals can be swayed by moderation; most will be skeptical.

PURGE THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY: When faced with rising fascism and the totalitarian takeover, moderate/centrist Democrats won't oppose. They will accommodate it, even. They not only lack a moral core; they hate the left almost as much as the right. So they sacrifice democracy and the American people.

PURGE THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY: The moderates/centrists don't care about public opinion, despite their whining about radical leftists not following polls. Even when more Americans are starting to embrace socialist/progressive ideas and adapt to leftist strategies, moderates/centrists rebel against it.

PURGE THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY: What's worse, moderate/centrist Democrats stand for nothing. They might *pretend* to care about people's needs and concerns. But in the end they just care about their own privilege and power. They care about being in government, doing little-to-nothing to change things.

PURGE THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY: Chuck Schumer and the eight Democrats who betrayed the party...Dick Durbin, John Fetterman, Tim Kaine, Angus King, Maggie Hassan, Catherine Cortez Masto, Jeanne Shaheen, and Jacky Rosen... They are all moderates/centrists. Ideology is identity.

PURGE THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY: The ones who often cave/capitulate to Trump's attacks and lawlessness are moderate-centrist Democrats. They harbor an obsession with bipartisanship and making policy tweaks. They are beholden to corporate donors; to a neoliberal status quo. The real cancer of the party.

SENATE DEMOCRATS COWARDICE AND COMPLICITY: Reopening the government without definite and massive concessions from Trump/GOP is caving. It shows how weak and afraid Chuck Schumer and almost all senate Democrats really are. They don’t know how to use their leverage or power. Utter, total failures.

SENATE DEMOCRATS COWARDICE AND COMPLICITY: If it wasn’t clear to the senate boneheads… Shutting down the government was a matter of principle & political strategy. It forces Trump/GOP to succumb to public pressure *daily* (not until the midterms). People’s anger would be directed at *Republicans*.

SENATE DEMOCRATS COWARDICE AND COMPLICITY: The Senate as an *institution* is already anti-democratic and anti-majority to an extent. To have weak senate Democrats like Schumer fighting against Trump is even more catastrophic. ***Primary every Democrat who caved or remain complicit in failing***

SENATE DEMOCRATS COWARDICE AND COMPLICITY: Any Democratic senator who is *not* explicitly and loudly demanding Schumer to step down will be considered complicit in his failed leadership. It doesn’t matter if they voted no on the CR. The entire caucus works together like a pack of conniving thieves.

SENATE DEMOCRATS COWARDICE AND COMPLICITY: Chuck Schumer needs to be primaried and replaced. He’s an utter disgrace to the Democratic Party and the American people. Even if he voted no, he failed to unify the caucus. Failed to let Americans know in advance what’s coming. Failed to demand higher.

RESILIENCE AND END OF THE TRUMP SHUTDOWN: The public will rally around a serious, substantial, comprehensive deal even if Trump/GOP refuse to give in. Offer nothing. Demand everything.

RESILIENCE AND END OF THE TRUMP SHUTDOWN: This titanic fight leaves no room for incremental gains. Recognize the enormity of it. Trump and the GOP have chosen an immovable position; a genuine hostage situation on the national scale. Bailing them out (with weak offers) is the equivalent of caving.

RESILIENCE AND END OF THE TRUMP SHUTDOWN: When you have the upper hand in a negotiation, with strong leverage and public opinion on your side, then *apply pressure on your opponents as much as possible*. Demand a FULL PACKAGE, not just healthcare. Show the public that you mean business.

RESILIENCE AND END OF THE TRUMP SHUTDOWN: Democrats, however, need to think twice before offering Republicans *anything* that is ineffective and insufficient. A weak offer, even if it’ll end the shutdown, will signal to the Democratic base that their leaders are too weak to apply maximum pressure.

RESILIENCE AND END OF THE TRUMP SHUTDOWN: There is no easy way out. Trump and the Republicans will have to negotiate and give major concessions to end the shutdown, if they want even the *slightest* chance of keeping their seats in the House. They either do so, or pay a steep political price.

RESILIENCE AND END OF THE TRUMP SHUTDOWN: The American people will suffer a great deal from the shutdown. There will be rising public tension and unrest. There may even be direct confrontation or sudden political violence directed at Republicans. Most people will endure. Some may violently react.

RESILIENCE AND END OF THE TRUMP SHUTDOWN: It’s simple. Donald Trump and Mike Johnson are keeping the American people hostage to their government shutdown. They’re doing it to protect their big bill for billionaires, and conceal the Epstein Files. They have until the 2026 midterms to end it.

PEOPLE AT KNIVES: Always look at the bigger picture. Trump/GOP are destroying what’s left of the government (and civil society) by abusing their authority & power. Dominance through force and fear. Exploitation of the political and economic system for their own gain… They will *fail*.

PEOPLE AT KNIVES: Also, the idea that tariffs can bring back “manufacturing” to American soil is ludicrous. Manufacturing will shrink and eventually collapse with the economy, brought down by Trump’s tariffs. Small businesses will die. Large companies will be vulnerable to layoffs and strikes.

PEOPLE AT KNIVES: With tariffs, Trump’s child-like understanding of economics led him to view tariffs as a powerful tool to dominate, exploit, and control other countries. If Canada or Mexico aren’t being nice to him, then tariffs on *them*. He doesn’t care if tariffs destroy the American economy.

PEOPLE AT KNIVES: Trump and Miller, like all fascists & tyrants, are working with a fundamental flaw. Their biggest strategic mistake is this: *Every act of aggression will be met with equal or greater opposition.* That’s especially true in America, with 250 years of (imperfect) democratic rule.

PEOPLE AT KNIVES: As for ICE… Stephen Miller is an idiot. Does he really think that the cruelty of ICE raids will put fear in the American people? Does he expect the protests, the acts of defiance, the documenting of crimes to simply stop? Does he think ICE will be *accepted* by the public?

PEOPLE AT KNIVES: If the government is out of service long enough, it can push society to the brink of chaos and insanity. It won’t just affect the general public. It will penetrate the very security and fortunes of those Republicans who enable Trump. They may just not realize it in time.

PEOPLE AT KNIVES: With the shutdown, it’s fair to say that congressional Republicans forfeited their legislative authority and power to a tyrant. They mostly disappear. It’s not particularly unusual. A political party can ransack the government, only to abandon its responsibilities in the end.

PEOPLE AT KNIVES: The rich and powerful, the ruling class that Trump chiefly serves…they are benefiting from the government shutdown, the ICE raids, and the tariffs imposed on the world. It’s about power to control and exploit. Ordinary Americans pay the price. Democracy & freedom pay the price.

PEOPLE AT KNIVES: It’s amazing how much ignorance MAGA voters have about Trump. Or how much *willful ignorance* they can put up with... If they fully understand the profound betrayal of their mad king, perhaps they would rise up and furiously flood their reps and senators with phone calls.

PEOPLE AT KNIVES: The Trump shutdown is about mass suffering of ordinary Americans, especially MAGA constituents in “red” states. MAGA voters who will lose SNAP assistance, as well as see their health insurance premiums skyrocket. Donald Trump and Mike Johnson are lying to the MAGA base—daily.

NOTE TO MAYOR-ELECT MAMDANI: Be prepared for Trump’s various attacks and abuse of federal power against your position or NYC. Be aggressive against ICE. Engage in the information war whenever possible. Keep the public informed. Keep them motivated. Stick to the core values from your campaign.
