My personal favourite Burnout game. Unbelievable banger.

Credits rolled on "Onimusha: Warlords". What a damn good game this was. I have some issues with the unskippable cutscenes and no auto save implementation. However, I understand that's a product of it's time. Other than that? Loved it.

At the very least, they should be "heavily" considering a sequel. Pragmata came out of nowhere for me and won me over definitively.

Onimusha and its use of pre rendered backdrops reminds me how much I LOVE this art style. It's so striking and intense against the 3D models of the characters. Capcom had the sauce, knew what they were doing and ran with it.

Rayman getting some overdue love is a net positive straight up, don't get me wrong. BUT I think I would have preferred the enhanced version of Origins to drop BEFORE Retold came out. As opposed to same day release. That way new audience could get a feeling for this iteration of Rayman.

Played through the Onimusha demo twice. In both story & action difficulty and I'm pretty confident I'll be comfortable with action as my chosen path, when the full game drops. Absolute banger.

The opinion no-one asked for. My ranking of the Kung Fu Panda Movies, from my favourite to least enjoyed. 🐼 2 🐼 1 🐼 3 🐼 4 I had previously watched the first 3 over the years already but watched 4 for the first time today. I didn't enjoy it all that much tbh, felt more like a spin-off.

The whole sequence in Kung Fu Panda 2, where Poe learns to centre himself and achieve inner peace is a remarkable feat of animation. Also it's just a gorgeous moment of imagery, finding balance despite painful memories & tranquility even in a rainstorm.

I completed the story for First Light yesterday. I don't really give scores but I can tell you as both a Bond fan and a Hitman fan. IO cooked up a damn fine game with this one. Social stealth was decent. The gunplay was pretty good. Patrick Gibson played James quite well. Damn good time.

I watched this yesterday despite having heard that it was reviewing poorly. I enjoyed its attempt at showing the complexity of taking responsibility, facing mistakes and finding true validation outside of external opinions. A very flawed and imperfect experience, much like humans, much like life.

I watched the first episode of Spider-Noir. It was very good, I'll definitely keep watching this. Holy shit. 🕸️

Today's pick-ups. Slightly mild take is that I prefer the OG Lego Star Wars games. The Skywalker Saga was decent but lacked the charm of the original titles. Also. Never even played the 3rd game which shocks me because The Clone Wars is peak Star Wars imo.
