I'm pleased that the Vikings went out and got it done today. Sure they are the second worst team in the NFC and they beat the worst team, but at least they didn't play down to their opponents. Hopefully something to build upon for the rest of the season, it gets harder from here...

Sometimes its the simple two page adventure with the dumbass name will get you through a 4 hour night with your friends and 2 hours notice. Hell of a fun module though, fleeing from a dozen zombies in a now-battered F150 was not in the cards when they started.

I went to the Lions/Vikings game last night--got a ticket through the Wilf fund on Saturday. I had no expectations and had a blast, even though the Vikings lost (we're still playing with house money, and I enjoy any ride where we win 13+ games). Also, end zone row 2, never get that close again.

Sometimes its hard to fit 10 songs in an hour. Today was one of those days (Damn prog albums)> Here's my top ten from 10 to 1 for 2024. Wasn't a ton of great new-to-me strange metal out there, so the top few are pretty conventional outside the Blood Incantation. It was a great year!

Here's the tracklist from last Friday's International Metal Show. Just a quick recap of Thanksgiving's week shows before we dive into the end of year recaps next week and the week after!

It's the first time in 15 years since the Vikings have had 2 losses this late in the season. The last time was 2009. Seasons: 1969, 1970, 1973, 1975, 1976, 1998, 2000, 2009. It truly is a good time to be alive.

Just got back from a killer concert run in the EU. Wheel last Tuesday, Feuerschwanz last Wednesday, and VOLA on Thanksgiving. What a great week of shows, Best performances: All of them? Biggest surprise: Charlotte Wessels and her band. The Obsession is heavy, but it's taken to 11 live.

Another fun and great U-Con! As expected, my Friday night game, 'The Secrets of Sleeping Bear Dunes,' did not sell more than one ticket. I'll run it at Origins. I ran Alien RPG and Candela Obscura, I might be getting the hang of this narrative storytelling. Everything I played was excellent!

Ok, listen users. If you are going to try to avoid our system policies, can you at least not write your script names to be avoid_system_policy.sh, please? Sheesh, people!

Rarely does your convention module completely survive the playtest group, but this one did a pretty good job. A couple of tweaks and this is ready for U-Con. Now I just need players. My two RP heavy sessions are sold out, my Friday night pulpy session still only has one player. So strange.

The downside of submitting your own module to a convention game is that you then have to write the module, and this month has been consistently brutal for work. Good thing I still have a week left? It's just over halfway there, so I think there's hope?

Been a busy two weeks, but preparing next session for the aftermath of the were-crocodile stealth action. Now, the heroes have to get the parcel (which contains a major artifact), and rescue a prisoner while being chased by a higher than level appropriate dragon. What could go wrong?
