I don’t have the intellect or bandwidth to blow this out, but I think the Olympics are furthering my emerging theory: that the need to cede control of basically everything to women, is greater than ever. Watching how the women comport themselves in the midst of elite-level competition is inspiring.

We just celebrated my wife’s birthday at Bar La Grassa. We don’t usually go for higher-end Italian when we go out—we can reasonably fake good Italian; we can’t say the same for good Indian or Japanese. But, yowzaa it was great.
