Humans gave name to and built cosmologies around words like intent. Destiny. Even Magic. Did we forget? Were we disingenuous? Insincere? Or did we just get jaded?

Regarding feelings and emotion: Perhaps, given the individuality of topography of being that we seemingly possess, life may be the Sisyphean boulder we seem forced to squander the energy of being on, for the hubristic belief that we are somehow worthy of being the gods of emotion.
