The buf.io team built another Kafka-compatible streaming system called Bufstream. Similar to WarpStream it writes directly to S3, simplifying the operations and costs. The Jepsen team tested this new engine and wrote a report. Read it here: jepsen.io/analyses/buf... #apachekafka
