I've been in a cabin in the countryside in Sweden since Saturday and it's been lovely. Reading a book inside during a 2 day storm with the woodburner going and watching trees sway in the forest nearby.

Tea! I've been drinking and discovering so many different kinds of tea lately.

Currently packing for a trip and while the suitcase is still currently empty (and not even taken out of the cupboard), I have now picked and packed the essentials.

I'm going through three years worth of photo work, which feels a little daunting but it also feels good to have come so far with a long-term project that's meant a lot.

Migraine free today, the sun is out and I've managed both writing and making some photo selections for a long-term photo project. If I can, I'll squeeze in a beach or forest walk too.

It's hailing and snowing. Because of course it is, on the south coast of England in late March, the week I'm off work. Does explain the migraine though.

I saw my first bluebells two days ago. The forest is going to look like this again soon and I can't wait.

I put on makeup and a dress today because I felt like it, got to see some family, received birthday presents (good ones!) and Easter eggs (my favourites), got to pet dogs and have lunch at a country pub. AND the sun was out.

For a while now I've dreamt of setting up a monthly or quarterly Print Club subscription for anyone who might be interested in prints and want to support my work. But with everything going on in the world I can't imagine people spending their hard earned money on it.

On a related note, please be nice and patient with anyone working in the book industry on World Book Day. It's a tough one.

Very busy, full-on day at work. Feel absolutely wrung out but tomorrow morning will belong to me and not work, so it's all good.

We've had a round of redundancies at work in my department, which has been pretty gruelling the last few weeks but yesterday I got to go to bed knowing I won't lose my job for the time being.

Look, I absolutely love fog. I'm smitten with it. But I'm not impressed with the fog that's just rolled in when sun was predicted. While it hasn't been a cold winter in my corner of England this year, it has been almost non-stop grey and wet for two months and I'm fed up.

Today's wholesome activities: - Reading a local paper with my morning tea - Opening a surprise Galentines gift from a friend, a beautiful notebook from an art exhibition - Went for a long walk in the sun, down to a local cafè for takeaway tea and a cinnamon bun, sat on a bench overlooking the sea.

I can't watch figure skating without muscle memory kicking in, I just want to be on the ice again. Watching the Olympics takes me right back to that feeling of landing a successful jump.

I've been in a reading slump lately but earlier this week I had an epiphany and digged out 'Karitas' Vol. 2 from my book cart of unreads, lent to me by my mum. It's the perfect distraction, a story about a middle aged artist in post-war Iceland trying to make art against the passing of time.

There's semi-transparent clouds today with blue behind it, I've had a full night's sleep and it's Friday, which means I have the morning off before work, so I've already had a slow cup of green tea with mint.

I've sold a photo print for the first time and having now packaged it up ready to send, imposter syndrome is hitting hard.
