A better day today, none of my customers at work were horrible, I received two proofs in the post, watched a particularly good episode of an anime in my lunch break while sipping iced tea and just got a photo of some clouds where I got "that feeling", photographers will know what I mean.

Today a customer at work got abusive and sweary in a reply to me. Customers have been getting increasingly abusive the last few months, peaking in the last 4 weeks. Work is fun 🙃🫠

The weather is of course the opposite of what I was hoping for to shoot a test roll so I've been editing digital photos today instead.

Had a bit of a rummage in the box with our film cameras in them and discovered a camera from my childhood (which I thought was still "back home). Everything seems to be working so if all goes well I can try and put a roll through it 🤞

Second week in a row that hasn't been the best. Anyone sharing stories or images of nice, lovely, cute or joyful things will have my eternal gratitude.

All sorts of things kept going wrong last week. Today I'm resetting, so I've spent the morning meditating, writing, reading and now I'm editing photos. I already feel better for it.

Does anyone know if there's somewhere in Haneda Airport that sells Traveler's Company notebooks? I'm travelling to Japan in Oct and would prefer to buy locally but I would want to start collecting Eki stamps as soon as I arrive.

It's the warmest day this year so far and I just happened to only have 1,5 hours at work thanks to some annual leave leftovers, so I went on a long and very brilliant walk down to the beach and home through the forest. Yes, I had ice cream.

I've been in Denmark since Wednesday and flew back to England this afternoon. I'm about to have my first cup of PG Tips in 11 days, I might combust.

I've been in a cabin in the countryside in Sweden since Saturday and it's been lovely. Reading a book inside during a 2 day storm with the woodburner going and watching trees sway in the forest nearby.

Tea! I've been drinking and discovering so many different kinds of tea lately.

Currently packing for a trip and while the suitcase is still currently empty (and not even taken out of the cupboard), I have now picked and packed the essentials.

I'm going through three years worth of photo work, which feels a little daunting but it also feels good to have come so far with a long-term project that's meant a lot.

Migraine free today, the sun is out and I've managed both writing and making some photo selections for a long-term photo project. If I can, I'll squeeze in a beach or forest walk too.

It's hailing and snowing. Because of course it is, on the south coast of England in late March, the week I'm off work. Does explain the migraine though.

I saw my first bluebells two days ago. The forest is going to look like this again soon and I can't wait.

I put on makeup and a dress today because I felt like it, got to see some family, received birthday presents (good ones!) and Easter eggs (my favourites), got to pet dogs and have lunch at a country pub. AND the sun was out.

For a while now I've dreamt of setting up a monthly or quarterly Print Club subscription for anyone who might be interested in prints and want to support my work. But with everything going on in the world I can't imagine people spending their hard earned money on it.

On a related note, please be nice and patient with anyone working in the book industry on World Book Day. It's a tough one.

Very busy, full-on day at work. Feel absolutely wrung out but tomorrow morning will belong to me and not work, so it's all good.

We've had a round of redundancies at work in my department, which has been pretty gruelling the last few weeks but yesterday I got to go to bed knowing I won't lose my job for the time being.

Look, I absolutely love fog. I'm smitten with it. But I'm not impressed with the fog that's just rolled in when sun was predicted. While it hasn't been a cold winter in my corner of England this year, it has been almost non-stop grey and wet for two months and I'm fed up.

Today's wholesome activities: - Reading a local paper with my morning tea - Opening a surprise Galentines gift from a friend, a beautiful notebook from an art exhibition - Went for a long walk in the sun, down to a local cafè for takeaway tea and a cinnamon bun, sat on a bench overlooking the sea.
