Bagel time! I settled for the closer but not as good bagels because it’s sleeting and super unpleasant in NYC this morning and I didn’t want to walk the extra six blocks to go to my favorite bagel place.

Anyway I’m going to go to NYC, eat a bagel, enjoy a musical about chess, and then see the three musical artists who make me feel the most hopeful about this world all in the same bill with Kyshona and Allison Russell supporting Mavis Staples.

I love it for us that our unstable president just gets to start wars now with no input from Congress and no justification to the American people. Like I am very up on news and have no idea why we would be at war with Iran.

Because I'm never not thinking about copyright and most of the rest of my brain power is dedicated to Heated Rivalry, I can't stop thinking about how likely it is that all these places hosting Heated Rivalry dance parties and rewatches are violating copyright law.

Literally half of the people I work with are out sick today. The news is all super bleak. I just want to go hide in a bunker somewhere.

I finished reading Game Changer and Heated Rivalry. It's hard to separate them from the show, but I honestly don't think I would have cared for Heated Rivalry without having seen the show. Even though it's like 90% the same dialogue it felt flat on the page to me. The show is so much more intimate.

I waste so much time trying to deal with prescription prior authorizations. Jan - Need a new refill and specialty pharmacy also tells me I'll be due for a new prior auth in Feb if I want to get doc to do that too. Ask for both. Call pharmacy before last order to make sure they have new auth.

While my colleague is off on vacation for 2 weeks, I am supervising her department. I would like her to come back now. It's been 3 days and all 3 days have involved some sort of issue. Not staff related. Her staff are great. Just stuff I have to deal with.
