A ★★★ review of They Will Kill You (2026)
I liked this. Not sure why, really, but I liked it. Total grindhouse film. Bloody, gory, completely over the top. It kind of doesn’t make much sense, either. But, still, there was just something. I’ve always said I love a good visual movie and I think that is why I liked this one. The wonky camera work, the weird chapter titles that weren’t needed whatsoever, and the rich, beautiful color scheme. Those blues and reds (okay, the red was mostly spurting blood, but, still…..) At a lean ninety minutes it doesn’t take long to get into the action. A woman
