I’m doing a tour later this year. It’s a pretty big one too. I may need some help getting the word out as that is not something at which I excel. You’ll lend a hand, right?

Once again, I am about to switch myself off for another day and have felt no need to share any part of my day or the thoughts I had during it. I don’t think this is going to work out. It’s not you, it’s me.

I decided (call it a New Year’s resolution if you wish) that I should be more accepting, if not entirely embracing of communication platforms such as this. And so I thought I’d try to post at least one thing every day in 2024. Just got into bed and realised I was about to fail on day 1.

I like the week between Christmas and new year. It’s awkward, unsure of its role, hesitant, complex and full of possibilities that remain mostly unrealised. Never really coming to terms with its left-handedness… Or am I projecting somewhat?

Next year, my debut solo album with the really long name will be 20 years old. If I do a tour playing that album all the way through, will you come to a show?

Now if I could just get some guidance on music/art/film/politics/version-of-21st-century-reality.
