Learning to kitesurf in Baja. La Ventana, where I lived for three years, is a magnet for kitesurfers from all over the globe in the winter. This photo was taken in February.

The Cardón Cactus of Baja California Sur. Can grow up to 60’ tall. They are everywhere, and also federally protected. This cactus was on a hiking route that I walked early every morning; the sun rising in pink skies in this photo.
