Over the past 2 summers, I observed southern Italian embroidery, cut out work, applique, and lace dating back to the Middle Ages while staying at Art Center Padula and Museo del Cognome in the Campania region. Hoping to merge these studies into my hand stitching during 14C residency. More soon.
