Peaceful protest is a right. I urge Angelenos to exercise that right safely and not give this administration an excuse to escalate, as we know they are capable of doing. Los Angeles always stands together.

The senseless killing of an innocent and unarmed wife and mother by ICE agents today in Minneapolis is shocking and tragic and should never have occurred.
