Just finished rereading Leviathan Wakes (The Expanse book 1), and I very much enjoyed it. One thing I couldn't help but think: Anderson Dawes plays such a minor role in the book, but Jared Harris added so much to that character in the TV show.

When I was a freshman in high school in 1983 I watched the TV movie The Day After. It was about the aftermath of a nuclear war and it scared the shit out of me. This week is the first time since the 1980s I've been afraid a nuclear war would actually happen. I don't like it.
