With my eldest daughter at the brand new Christchurch Park parkrun on a very warm morning. Didn't push too hard today because I have a 10k race tomorrow but pleased with my time on a very hilly new course.

Another bit of parkrun tourism again at Wickford. Rain and high humidity ruined me in the 3rd mile so a little disappointed with my time of 26:47. However 1st in my age category cheered me up along with a bacon roll in the cafe.

For the last few months I have been working around my youngest daughter's house. A full lounge, hall, stairs and landing renovation from the floor up. I'm getting towards completion now and yesterday afternoon I painted her a picture for a dark area at the end of the hall. #acrylicpainting

This is the only oil painting I have done, the sunflower field was in Worcestershire with the Malvern hills in the background. I must have another go at oils now I know the techniques better. #oilpainting #landscapeart

Another warm Tuesday race in my running club's 5k series. However a much faster run now it's on handicap timing. With slowest runners starting first we have targets to reel in and also I become a target from the really quick boys and girls.
