I think religion is a bigger issue in US politics than any other demographic. Name any minority category you want and I promise you that US voters would elect a member of that group who was openly religious over someone with no other minority status other than refusing to affirm a belief in God.

So my conclusions after tonight's (if you can call it a) gubernatorial debate are basically this: none of these candidates is a great option. If you want to nitpick on idealistic principles, there's plenty to keep you busy. But there's a clear and dramatic difference between the parties.
