I don't charge to 90% on DCFC (unless I plan on a road trip), but I like seeing what the estimated range is. It's not bad honestly. The 2022 Hyundai kona electric has been a very liveable EV.

I would like to get a better EV soon, as much as I enjoy the Kona. The battery capacity is right in the middle of being practical enough for daily use and for road trips, but the DCFC charging speed (77kw) isn't ideal. I would like one that gets at least 100kw and purpose built to be an EV.

I never had a good experience with a GM built car except for a Pontiac Vibe, but that isn't fair because it's a Toyota Matrix. I had a 2014 Chevy sonic that decided to eat its own camshaft for no reason and a 2018 Chevy Cruze that decided it wanted to run on three cylinders for no reason at all.

I'm leaning towards quitting my day job and being self employed for a while. The pay bump for the amount of work my current position is expecting from me is offensively disproportionate.

As much as I don't like Tesla, there's no denying that the charging network is better. I might have to buy an adapter before my next roadtrip.
