This just released and it could be interesting for upcoming comic artists and maybe even veteran comic makers!! (repost because I accidentally forgot to set it to public but it's public now!)

I absolutely love how friendly the comic community is. So many people are so readily willing to share each others' work and provide feedback and whatnot! Just recently another comic creator reached out to me and we're both helping each other's weaker points to strengthen our own stories!

Hunters very first page was published April 13, 2013. Admittedly I don't celebrate the anniversary often, it sometimes just passes by without much thought from me. But for the 10th anniversary, I did manage to ask fellow artist @arven.bsky.social to draw up a special anniversary piece!

As a somewhat related but separate train of thought, to fellow artists. I don't know about you, but I often feel useless and incompetent when it comes to fighting fascism. To supporting protestors. To acting with praxis in solidarity. All I can do is draw silly pictures. These are brainworms. 🪱🧵

Unfortunately Laruk wouldn't really agree with this concept, having struggled on the daily since day one with a less than optimistic take. She struggles with fully understanding the pain and wounds of others too but can at least see that it's not that easy to let time simply run its course.

Do people prefer art prints of more generic stuff like landscapes or well-known characters or whatnot... Or are prints of original characters and stories still liked and interesting for people to buy? Mostly asking those that have purchased art prints.
