this seems a good a place as any (perhaps the BEST place) to share my essay on the coming changes in the Age of Air with Pluto in Aquarius:

understanding when, how, and why things happen can frequently do little to alleviate the experience of living through it when times are truly difficult there's knowing the light is at the end of the tunnel, but you still have to go through the tunnel

Andrรฉ Barbault, French astrologer who predicted the fall of the Soviet Union 35 years prior, and a 2020-21 pandemic 10 years prior, heralded the "basket" formation coming on July 20 2026--a configuration of Jupiter and all three outer planets in exact aspect and believed it would transform the world

a major element of the age of air is the proliferation of memes and splintering of reality tunnels accordingly; the shooting of you-know-who appears completely illegible to most commentators because they have no idea what's going on in the alt-right neonazi 4chan groyper pipeline

do you ever think about how being born at a full moon puts the lot of fortune in the 7th signifying an encounter with and journey to the Other symbolized by fortune houses slowly inverting your chart until your ascendant ends up where your descendant was

TIL that Walter Jackson Freeman, the popularizer of the lobotomy responsible for turning it into an "office procedure", has a Mars-Saturn conjunction in Scorpio (and Sun, Mercury, *and* Uranus--and quite possibly the Moon) because of course he does untimed chart

there's a very interesting configuration happening this month where Mercury and Mars will make exact sextiles while going in forward motion within close orb TWICE the first time as Mars overtakes slow post-direct-station Mercury, and the second time as Mercury speeds up again and overtakes Mars

large language models are such a pure manifestation of Mercury it's hilarious - raw information and data turned into language - wildly associative and context dependent - lies constantly - made of stolen data - requires skill to use well and its performance is correlated with Mercury's condition

sucks. it'd be cool if there were some sort of alternative financial system that anyone could use to process payments that structurally cannot be censored or pressured by religious political parties. if only!

naturally, LLM capacity would correlate perfectly with Mercury station and retrograde, the planet associated with TECHNOLOGY and LANGUAGE literally starting yesterday, Anthropic began severely limiting Claude Code's quality as well as usage limits, and vibe coders are in a furor

the reaction to the Astronomer CEO/CPO Coldplay thing feels very emblematic of Pluto in Aquarius to me--particularly, its opposition to Leo. the mass, suffering collective, reaching for power at the clearly legible extravagances of wealth, corruption, and overreach from the powerful

today I'm thinking about how Mars is associated with the genitalia and how there are no truly elegant, nice words for them and most of them are extremely sexual, obscene, dirty, or medical also: "rawdogging"

thrilled (frustrated) to report that Mercury station affects LLM behavior too quite literally shouting at it with my fingers "CONTINUE" "CONTINUE" "STOP STOPPING" "HOLY SHIT CONTINUE" because the LLM literally just does nothing after receiving a message and stopping constantly lol

the fact that Mercury and Venus never get so far away from the Sun is so interesting in the context of solar returns they'll always have a limited set of signs every year, with the same themes and dignity, every year. different houses, certainly, but a similar structure

one Saturn-Neptune conjunction experience can be likened to walking in fog, necessitating more care due to uncertain situations. Only taking a couple steps at a time. But I could also use the metaphor of a mirror maze, where again, moving more slowly and with care will be protective.

this is pretty typical gnostic/neo-platonic thinking but something I want to try to put to words: my metaphysical belief atm is that cause and effect in our material reality emerge from a higher formal order, perhaps the mental plane/nous, as a swirl of fractal themes and archetypal forces
