I LOVE the idea of toons having to figure out cartoon logic vs real life logic. It has a ton of potential for scenarios. Imagine your child starts choking on their food, so you scream for help and suddenly Sprout and Cosmo charge out of the kitchen to smack the shit out of them.

I still think they're a parody of the headless parent trope. If they ever were in the cartoon, they never had their faces visible. They were unimportant figures and it would be cheaper not to animate their faces.

Brusha would probably get along with Dazzle, since they share a similar melancholy. Razzle's cheerfulness would undoubtedly get on her nerves, and as you said, she wouldn't find his comedy very worthwhile.

It would probably cost too much. They'd have to redo Shelly's entire floor, get rid of all her marketing, and either reanimate old episodes to remove her or pretend like she didn't exist. Besides, who would they replace her with? A new toon or someone pre-existing?

Astro doesn't seem to be aware that he's giving Boxten nightmares, but this concept is so funny to me. "I know you're a coward Boxten, so let me torment you in your sleep. The trauma and lack of sleep will ensure character development."

I don't see Dandy's World being a gross-out show at all. It doesn't really fit the tone of the small snippets of the cartoon we've seen. Maybe Tisha would be disgusted by some of the things toons had to do in the cartoon, but that's Tisha, so...

As much as I don't like Brusha, her character does interest me, and I have fun exploring how her mind works and why I believe she acts the way she does.

Maybe when the game fully releases, we'll get a Dandy's World song to go along with it that'll focus on Dandy.

It's possible, but I don't see the show changing from 2D to 3D midway through its run, especially since we see cel sheets on one of the floors (which were used to animate 2D cartoons). It'd be a massive leap to just shift art styles so drastically if it weren't a reboot.

People will tell you it's misogyny, and there's truth in that, but Delilah also presents as more evil than Arthur does. Between her spooky smile, ulterior motives, and carelessness for the toons, it's easy to villainize her and assume Arthur had the best intentions.

What I'm assuming is that Arthur and Delilah only wanted the show characters mingling with guests in Gardenview. Since Dyle isn't one, he was hidden from audiences to avoid causing confusion about his existence. We don't really know for sure yet.

I do agree, but if I were to give criticism to Razzle and Dazzle's writing, I think a lot of dialogue is very Dazzle-centric. I'd like more interactions where Razzle takes the lead.

See, but all the non-holiday toons know the cast better than a holiday toon could. Because holiday toons only come around for specials in the TV show, it'd make sense for Eggson not to have memories watching the main cast grow up.

Boxten and Cosmo were the first toons my friend shipped when she first joined the fandom. She's since become fruitcake's strongest warrior, but cakebox will always hold a special place in my heart for that reason.

I always thought it was supposed to be a reference to the Headless Horseman, with Twisted Gourdy's feet resembling hooves and his head being a pumpkin. Then again, his head *is* on his neck, so maybe you're right.

I think of it like this: Shelly's whole gimmick revolves around cheering toons on and preaching teamwork. If she's feeling lonely, she could always spend time with Tisha while she cleans, boosting her morale or lending a helping hand. That means the job gets done quicker, too!

Did I say this? I believe it's canon, or at the very least, in terms of character exploration it is. I could see Astro subtly hinting to Bobette not to mention family around Gourdy, but I could also see her coming to the conclusion herself, since Gourdy just doesn't have parents.

There's a lot of potential in it. Will Gourdy and Bassie bond over the stress of being holiday mains or will Bassie crumble under the knowledge that a child does her job better than her? I can't wait to find out!

I don't think Squirm has tried, but I think it's an intrusive thought that keeps him awake at night, because he doesn't know if he'd be able to stop himself if push came to shove.

It's easy to be angry with him, but I think the toons have come to accept that eating books is what Squirm does. He literally cannot control it. It's engineered into him. Scraps has every right to be mad, but what use is there in holding a grudge when he can't stop himself?

No hate to the Gourdster but I was so bummed when we didn't get any elaboration on Connie and instead got lore about his missing parents. Her existence is so unique, what do you mean an event toon can just join the main cast? How does that work? How does it effect Connie?

Let me first say that I LOVE your drawing, but I think it's alright that the starter toons aren't all that good. They have a niche usability for beginner players, but they're meant to be outclassed.

Didn't get the second message (strawpage kinda sucks, idk why it does this), but there is a certain kindness in Finn that the other toons don't exhibit as much. He seems to see the best in everyone. He even tries giving Brusha the benefit of the doubt, which she then squanders.

I only got your first message, but I think the tragedy of Gardenview's toons is that (excluding Dyle) they *haven't* gone outside. They have no idea what they're missing. It's probably why they haven't left their abandoned museum. It's all they know. It's all they'll ever know.
