I used to read Nair with this lens of "switching out programmers to different teams has a cost to the program". Rereading it now with LLMs in the back of my mind, I keep thinking: "how is code different from any other produced text?" and I don't have a good answer.

The first episode is so good! Naur's paper was really formative for my understanding of my job as a programmer, and I'm going to be recommending this when people ask about it, or when people ask the standard questions about why I'm so hellbent on working on one piece of software at a time. Thanks!
