I really like tattoos. I like my tattoos. I like your tattoos (probably). It’s fascinating to see all the ways people adorn themselves with ink. I don’t care if the tattoo has deep, personal meaning or if it’s just something you thought looked cool. I just really like tattoos.

I had several Thudercats toys a kid, but I never actually got to watch the show because we didn’t get the channel. But I LOVED the toys.

I’ve been watching a bunch of YouTube videos about pipe smoking lately. I have no desire to smoke a pipe. The process/ceremony of it all is fascinating.

I wanted to do a Merle Haggard song in memory of my Pawpaw. He loved Merle.

Today would have been my Pawpaw’s 99th birthday. He’s raised me and he was/is my hero. He’s been gone almost 16 years and I still miss him every day, but I actually look forward to this day now because it’s an excuse to revisit some of the wonderful memories I have.

I’ve almost talked myself into getting an electric scooter. Almost.

You know what word is great? “Rubenesque.” I’ve been a big fan of that word for years.

Really struggling with the motivation to post my daily Instax Pal pics. I’m still taking them and posting them on threads, IG, and Snapchat. But they get at least a LITTLE interaction there. This is my “scream into the void” social media anyway, so it’s no big deal.

NASA and Mamdani are proving that Americans are desperate to see their money spent in ways they feel good about. This, however, is not the same thing as simply spending the money on things we would feel good about but never know happened. People need to be able to see it.

I decided to start rereading some “Encyclopedia Brown” books. I loved them as a child and they honestly hold up well, despite being a little “old timey” with the prices of things and whatnot.
