I've done some optimisation for my game world, to make it easier on my laptop during development 😅 I've done some object pooling on the tiles, so that I'm rarely ever loading new ones, and I made it so chunks can be loaded in segments, so they don't render when not needed #godot #gamedev #indiedev

I have finally gotten the pathfinding to avoid making things lower in elevation as possible paths! The debug is a bit messy but what you need to know is that the tiles that just say "a" are ones that are ignored. I am really happy with this :) #gamedev #godot #indiedev
