Our yummy haul from Oman - lots of dates (of course), plus frankincense coffee, date syrup, saffron, cardamom, cinnamon as well as some soaps, frankincense and myrrh.

Our flights home from Oman were changed (missed the connection by 15 mins) at the last minute so we had to spend some time in Istanbul. Viewed it as a positive - a chance to explore a new city. But - ouch! - Istanbul is more expensive than London. 40 quid each to visit Topkapi Palace? No thanks.
