Compilation Corner Sam Cooke A real treat tonight , my favourite single artist compilation of them all . 1986 , on the back of a Levi’s ad , RCA put this together , the naff cover versions are excised , this is 28 gems , all written by Sam himself …..truly immense ❤️🖤

Compilation Corner Roxy/Ferry Between 1972 and 1982 Roxy Music made 8 albums , good going for any band . However , Mr Ferry also threw 5 solo albums into the hat , so he was majorly involved in a remarkable 13 albums in 10 years ….. This gem reminds us just how high the quality was .

Compilation Corner the Triffids Two notable “best of“ discs for this wondrous lot , the first from 1994 I got in Tower and it may well have been an Oz import , hard to track down . 2nd was widely available , from when Domino did superb reissues of the bands back catalogue .
