Sony also reported an Impairment losses against Bungie of ¥120b (approx. $750 million). No details provided but it's probably a mix of Destiny 2 underperforming, Marathon issues and the overall live service landscape.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe sales represented a 89% attach rate for the quarter ending March 2026, the highest attach rate (quarterly) to date. On 10 Switch sold, 9 copies of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe were also purchased in that 3 months period.

The Nintendo Switch is now outpacing the DS by approx. 2 million units (launch aligned). Nintendo ended the DS reporting 4 quarters later, after production ended. Nintendo Switch should be produced for at least 4 more quarters.

Nintendo expects shipment of the Nintendo Switch 2 to decline, with 16.5 million units expected by March 2027. This still represents a record pace for a Nintendo console.

Pokemon FireRed and Pokemon LeafGreen sold over 4 million units (Nintendo) Already a third of the original GBA releases in only 6 weeks.

Pokemon Pokopia sold over 4m units in 5 weeks according to Nintendo (Japanese sales counted). It will very likely be the best selling Pokemon spin-off by next year.
