Wednesday was knee replacement surgery. Thursday was the beginning to figuring out my vision loss. Friday a flurry of specialists and tests, finding out I had a stroke. Saturday, one test, visit with sons and bestie. Got rest in, it as a good day. Today, it’s sinking in and I can’t stop

Approx. 12 hours after my knee replacement surgery, I had a mini stroke at the base of my neck causing some vision loss. When I look at your face, I can only see your left eye. 😢 Thus today was filled with many tests and stroke professionals coming in and out of my room. I’ll 100% admit, I cried,

Honestly, I’m feeling overwhelmed this morning. One week today, right now, I should be out of surgery, soon to wake up from anesthesia. Finished heart stress test this morning, came back, picked these up from the Red Cross, the walker and crutches are still in the car. Yep. Overwhelmed. 🙏🏽🪶

Took me two hours to get to Vancouver this morning. 😩 “Just” one hour twenty five minutes to get home. NO markets for 10 days!! I can rest! Kinda, lol. Phone calls with nurses, anesthesiologist, pick up a walker, bathtub chair and other equipment on Friday. But right now, rest. 🙏🏽🪶☺️

I am so tired. Went DT Vancouver to vend at a conference. Then to Musqueam to pick up Vince, back home half hour ago. Tomorrow is last day of conference then no vending until Sept. 28. Then nothing for two months. Honestly I can’t wait to rest and do absolutely nothing. Two. More. Days.
