I share this study of job-related mortalities of wildlife biologists as a reminder that this job is not without risks. 66% of all recorded deaths were caused by aircraft accidents. Drowning and vehicle accidents were 16%. Safety is vital, as is detailed planning. Choose your pilots carefully!
