A blind cave-dweller, driven by basal hunger. I don't have much to say about the design process, as a lot of it comes from a flow state where I just kinda evolve the drawing as I go - but it was really fun to go back in and draw how this characters mouth would look like at various stages.

Drawing of a lil' homunculus :3 I am getting accustomed to the watercolor brush in Sai, it's really good! I like being able to switch back to the airbrush when I want a more decisive brushstroke, but the watercolor brush is so good for modeling, and it does it quick too : D

I have been feeling .burnt out. But I managed to horf this drawing out before succumbing. I get very burnt out when I have to work on something for extended periods of time, and the formulaic aspects of the line-to-color doesn't help my lack of creative stamina. Ah well, more drawings will come.

Work in Progress. I'm trying my darnedest to work on this picture but like everything I do is undercut with fatigue. I wanna be a good artist and connect with people who enjoy my work. I'm glad I have a few eyes on my pictures. Hope you enjoy this snippet into what I'm working on.

Demon Critter.

Another Hybrid creature I painted in photoshop. I fiddled around with the wacom settings and reduced the pressure input required to save my wrist from carpal tunnel. It made the painting process more enjoyable, I also set the brush to 75% hardness and it made the process more pleasant as well.
