Prof Lee Edwards & colleagues at LSE have produced a report analysing approaches to media literacy in 11 countries: Belgium (Flanders), Brazil, Canada, Estonia, Finland, France, Ireland, Netherlands, N Zealand, S Africa & Sweden. Useful to compare these with what UK does eprints.lse.ac.uk/127862/

The data from this survey also shows that not only are critical thinking skills important, but cultural/national context and emotional responses to news are also factors affecting belief in disinformation.
