Awww...when a non-poetry person buys your poetry. At a mini hi-skool reunion, Joe told me he bought "An Illegal Feast" and reading a few poems at a time...Joe is a retired elementary school principal who can't stay retired, he's teaching immigrants to pass the citizenship test. TY & YAY, Joe!

High skool multi-year reunion!! I knew no one, no one knew me, until I saw the friendly face of Mark B, who was the Aztec sports editor! Then Camille, gurl was recruited by colleges to play volleyball. Della too on that team. Robin on the drill team, Missy & Hugo, both student council. What a night!

I did a post show Q & A with two UCLA student activists moderated by Clyde Kusatsu (Star Trek:TNG, A Man on the inside)...we haven't seen each other since the ABC sitcom "All-American Girl" starring Margaret Cho. I was a writer on the show, Clyde played Margaret's dad. Happy reunion!!

As the world grows darker and incomprehensible, I binge watch something. I really was surprised by THE CLEANING LADY, Season 4. Worthy of your time, strong smart women characters. Kinda like a female-centric BREAKING BAD.

When the world stresses me out, I binge watch something. Highly recommend ETOILE...when I was in my 20s I took ballet classes in San Diego, so I wept to see a little Asian girl borrowing slippers to practice late at night as her mom cleaned the ballet studio. Also cool to see friends' credit.
