We’re proud to unveil a plaque celebrating the University’s historical contribution to the Spitfire's production. The Spitfire Makers plaque tells how the university hosted the manufacturer’s Design Office after its factories were bombed in 1940.

Fun Fact of the Day 🪐 Pluto hasn’t made a full orbit around the sun since it was discovered! Pluto was discovered on February 18, 1930 - 95 years ago. But its slow orbit around the sun (an earth year) takes over 248 years! Pluto's first orbit since discovery won't be complete until March 23, 2178.
